Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are getting more efficient. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and can take care of a variety of floors. Choose models that allow you to choose between multiple modes, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the best models are compatible with smartphones. Check for an app that allows you to save maps, set schedules and select cleaning options.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It uses lidar for navigation making maps of rooms and floors.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which includes flooring in the kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms, as well as carpet in the middle and a large area. It easily drove close to walls without hitting them and even managed to cross raised room thresholds with no problem, although it sometimes was unable to navigate down stairs in a single move. The S1 also did a fantastic job of cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on its flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it reached carpet or carpet.
After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills up its water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 cleaning sessions, but this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to wash out the dirty tank to avoid it becoming blocked. Also, you'll need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other combos which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-1 robot vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option for your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum is rated at 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with numerous innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor, instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned and dried at the base station, if required.
This robot combination is simple to install and use, and has a clear interface that guides you through the procedure. It comes with an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged for those areas that the robot isn't able to reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and filled when needed. It also has a range of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction which can effortlessly remove dust and debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are good, too, even though it is sometimes hung up on the small area mats or rugs that I have in my house (which is something you can reduce by creating a virtual boundary in the application). The mopping capabilities are quite excellent, too, with a pair of spin mops that actually lift and scrub floors instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops can also be filled at the top of the station if required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure that an effective, customized cleaning is accomplished.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our test's dirtiest areas well, keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other mess. The sweeping performance is augmented by an additional side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart, navigating narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It can easily move from one room to another without having to reverse direction which is a great feature for larger homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than some competitors, and leaves a huge margin over obstacles. This can result in miss-hit spots.
The app is streamlined and intuitive interface that will be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, adjust suction power and mopping settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You will require a stable internet connection to access the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of picking up dirt and debris, but it can't always be able to reach every bit of dust. It is important to clean often, at least once a week. This is especially important for dust that collects in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mop, is made to accomplish this. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, including the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it is cheaper because it doesn't come with mopping capabilities, and also has an aluminum body.

The Q5 is one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've seen at this price, even though it's not equipped to clean your floors. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an automatic emptying system, which means you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart application that lets you schedule cleaning and choose the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling system and washing system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with 2700Pa of power to take on dust, dirt, and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested did not show problems with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it did not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising as it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. remote hoover has a unique mapping system that allows it to reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums can't. It also collects dust in a larger dustbin which means you need to empty it less often. Additionally, it has washable filters that further lower the cost of using the device. This robot can also detect carpets and boost the suction when needed. The app also allows you to mark off areas you want to stay clear of, which is a nice feature.
